Job summary

Bridgestone HosePower in Elizabeth, NJ seeks an Operations Coordinator to serve as the main point of contact for the Branch's Operations Team, including Warehouse, Counter and Mobile Service. You will ensure that operations, administration, distribution and sales function harmoniously for the branch.

You will coordinate with the HosePower Regional Outside Sales team on quotes, bids, and order entry, communicating with production, sales and customers to address issues and meet ship dates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in Industrial Hose industry.
• Proficient in MS Office, with willingness to learn new software.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects.
• Experience in industrial distribution, preferably fluid power components.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and direction of operations, administration, distribution, and sales for the branch.
• Serve as point of contact for HosePower Regional Outside Sales team for quotes, bids and order entry.
• Communicate with production, sales and customers about schedule and order questions.
• Facilitate production scheduling, expediting late vendor shipments, sourcing as needed, and updating the system to reflect current order status.
• Support branch manager directives, especially when the manager is off premises.

Serves as a first line of defense for the Branch Manager and serves as the main point of contact in the Branch manager' absence.

• Experience with industrial distribution, preferably fluid power components preferred.
• Ability to work with a wide variety of people and personalities.
