Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Columbus, OH is seeking an energetic Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations across our dining, micro market, and headquarters support teams. This full-time role requires coordinating field teams, managing accounts, and upholding our service standards.

The position emphasizes team leadership, process improvement, and customer satisfaction within a family-oriented corporate culture. A company car is provided and comprehensive benefits are offered to full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Previous vending experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage financials and achieve goals.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with fellow workers and customers.
• Ability to effectively work independently and utilize time efficiently.
• Valid Driver’s License with good driving history.
• Must be able to pass DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the training and development of team members.
• Lead and assist on projects assigned by the Branch Manager.
• Operate and maintain company-owned vehicle in a safe manner; to be used for the purpose of traveling to accounts.
• Maintain positive customer relations by visiting accounts.
• Recognize needs for equipment upgrades and schedule installations of new vending machines.
• Support company programs and branch goals.
• Monitor inventory percentages, direct labor costs, waste percentages, inventory levels and consumption.
• Address customer inquiries/complaints within 24 hours.
• Perform other duties as required.

Headquarters Operations includes our Culinary Support Center, producing nearly 100,000 fresh food items daily; our Fleet Maintenance Center, servicing over 1,400 company vehicles; and our Equipment Technology Center, supporting thousands of kiosks and vending machines. HEADQUARTERS SERVICE CENTER

Our Headquarters Service Center serves as the main support for all AVI operations throughout the United States. Departments include accounting, administration, finance, human resources, marketing, procurement, risk management, training and development, wellness and much more.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to immediately fill the role of Operations Manager. This is a full-time position in Columbus, OH. This position works Monday-Friday.
