Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Tallmadge, OH, is seeking an energetic Operations Manager (Full-time) to lead and develop our field teams, drive projects, and ensure top-quality service. You will travel to accounts using a company vehicle, maintain strong client relationships, and pursue efficiency gains in inventory, labor, and waste while upholding safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Vending experience is preferred.
• Strong financial management and goal attainment.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Commitment to a family culture and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training and development of team members.
• Lead and assist on projects assigned by the Branch Manager.
• Operate and maintain company-owned vehicle for travel to accounts.
• Maintain positive customer relations by visiting accounts.
• Schedule installations of new vending machines and upgrade equipment as needed.
• Support company programs and branch goals.
• Monitor inventory, direct labor costs, waste, and consumption.
• Address customer inquiries/complaints within 24 hours.
• Perform other duties as required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the training and development of team members
• Lead and assist on projects assigned by the Branch Manager
• Operate and maintain company-owned vehicle in a safe manner; to be used for the purpose of traveling to accounts
• Maintain positive customer relations by visiting accounts
• Recognize needs for equipment upgrades and schedule installations of new vending machines
• Support company programs and branch goals
• Monitor inventory percentages, direct labor costs, waste percentages, inventory levels and consumption
• Address customer inquiries/complaints within 24 hours
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Previous vending experience is preferred
• Ability to manage financials and achieve goals
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with fellow workers and customers
• Ability to effectively work independently and utilize time efficiently
• Valid Driver’s License with good driving history
