Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Route Floater to join our team in Hilliard, OH. This full-time role supports dining centers and HQ operations with loading, driving, delivering and stocking products, while ensuring vehicle safety and customer satisfaction.

You will drive routes, handle inventory, and maintain schedules, with responsibilities across micro markets, vending and client sites. A 21+ age minimum and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations.
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations.
• Fill in for Service Routes or Delivery Routes as needed.
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.

HEADQUARTERS SERVICE CENTER

Our Headquarters Service Center serves as the main support for all AVI operations throughout the United States. Departments include accounting, administration, finance, human resources, marketing, procurement, risk management, training and development, wellness and much more.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Route Floater, Full-time in Hilliard, OH. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 1st shift.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations

Requirements
