The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall success of the café and retail operations by adhering to the client's culture and guidelines, health department regulations, and company standards for food quality, freshness, and presentation. This role oversees café and retail operations and maintains a positive work ethic. The Operations Manager motivates, trains, develops, and directs staff to achieve operational goals and customer satisfaction. Additionally, they solve problems professionally, quickly, and fairly while maintaining a strong working relationship with the client. This position requires availability during nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee food programs
• Supervise and develop staff
• Manage and analyze financial performance
• Ensure overall management of operations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in food service operations
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to staff, peers, supervisors, guests, and clients
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong passion for great food
• General culinary knowledge of basic kitchen practices, protocols, and procedures
• Ability to adhere to company health and safety standards
