Job summary

Clearsite Industrial Services is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee a fast-paced, growing vacuum excavation business. You will coordinate scheduling, dispatch, and monitoring of units to ensure field operations run smoothly.

The role reports to the Vice President and requires coordinating with field crews, operators, drivers, maintenance teams, and leadership. Occasional nights/weekends may be required as workloads dictate.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service-based operation.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• 1-2 years Dispatch experience preferred.
• Fleet maintenance coordination experience preferred.
• Experience in hydrovac or vacuum excavation operations preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with field crews, operators or drivers, maintenance teams, and leadership.
• Experience reviewing GPS reports preferred.

Specific Duties

• Scheduling projects daily
• Dispatching units daily
• Reviewing operator’s daily activities – DVIR, FLRA, DTR Tickets
• Ensuring that maintenance policies and procedures are followed
• Review reports from the GPS system
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience in a field service-based operation required.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• 1-2 years Dispatch experience preferred.
• Fleet maintenance coordination experience preferred.
• Experience in hydrovac or vacuum excavation operations preferred.
• The person in this position must have the ability to coordinate well with field crews, operators or drivers, maintenance teams, and leadership.
• Experience managing operational documentation, including DVIR, FLRA, and DTR tickets preferred.
• Experience reviewing GPS reports preferred.
• Experience with fleet management software is a plus.
• Eligible to work in the United States required.
