Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing Industry. This is a permanent position that offers an opportunity to lead, manage, and optimize our operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leadership, customer-facing roles, sales support, safety, and inventory management. A forklift certification and Lean Six Sigma knowledge are highly desirable. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position and a bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead and manage a team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages growth, collaboration, and high performance.
• Develop and implement operational strategies and procedures in line with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Manage customer relations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Provide sales support, working closely with the sales team to meet and exceed targets.
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and proper storage.
• Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Conduct performance reviews, identify areas of improvement, and implement necessary changes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the Manufacturing Industry.
• A bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field.
• Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in sales support, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and customer relationship management.
• A strong commitment to safety, with experience in implementing and overseeing safety regulations.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
• Strong inventory management skills, with the ability to manage and optimize stock levels.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
