Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring immediately for a leadership-focused role in our branch team.

Pay is based on experience and weekly pay is provided, with a schedule of 55-60 hours per week and a strong emphasis on safety and customer service. You will lead and develop a high-performing crew, drive branch performance, monitor reports with the Branch Manager, and collaborate across departments to ensure exceptional service and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Proven track record developing and empowering teams.
• Maintain high standards for safety and service.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Strong customer relations and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient typing and Microsoft Office skills.
• Collaborate with branch staff and management to hit sales and efficiency goals.

Responsibilities

• Review daily, weekly and monthly reports with Branch Manager and take corrective action, including developing action plans.
• Monitor fleet performance and prepare equipment requisitions for additional equipment.
• Conduct monthly Safety Meetings and maintain safety culture.
• Provide training development and coaching to the workforce for performance improvement.
• Participate in employee performance reviews and develop development plans.
• Promote a teamwork-oriented environment to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Develop and empower employees to make sound decisions.
• Maintain facility, equipment and delivery fleet standards; ensure tidy workspaces.
• Communicate with sales on leads and customer feedback to ensure exceptional service.
• Utilize training assessment tools to ensure service skills of inside salespeople.

Position Requirements

• Strong leadership experience 3+years required
• Proven track record developing and empowering your team
• Maintain High standards with regards to Safety and Service
• Advanced communication skills, both verbally and written, in English.
• Advanced customer relations and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate typing and computer skills – specifically with Microsoft Office
• Collaboratively work with branch employees and management to achieve business sales and efficiency goals.

What you will enjoy doing

• Review daily, weekly and monthly reports with Branch Manager to monitor branch performance and take corrective action with any deficiencies which includes developing action plans
• Monitor fleet performance and prepare equipment requisitions for additional equipment.
• Conduct monthly Safety Meeting, while maintaining safety culture
• Participate in training development of a dedicated work force while seeking to provide opportunities for career growth for each individual. Provide immediate coaching and guidance as it relates to their performance
• Participate in employee job performance reviews and develop action plans for their continual training and development
• Promote a teamwork-oriented environment to provide exceptional customer service
• Develop and empower all employees to make sound decisions
• Assist in maintaining company standards with the facility, equipment and delivery fleet. This includes cleanliness, organization and appearance of personal workspaces
• Communicate with sales on leads and customer feedback to ensure that exceptional customer service is delivered.
• Participate in monitoring and use of training assessment tools to ensure exceptional customer service skills of inside salespeople
