Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is key in ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations and the achievement of our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, estimating, hardscape, irrigation installation and maintenance, landscape installation, monumentation, and wetland and buffer mitigation processes. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of operational processes and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage all areas of manufacturing operations ensuring products are manufactured on schedule, within quality standards and cost objectives.
2. Lead the design and implementation of operational strategies and objectives to ensure the achievement of the company's goals.
3. Develop and implement efficient estimating processes to ensure accurate project costing.
4. Oversee hardscape operations, ensuring quality control and adherence to company standards.
5. Manage irrigation installation and maintenance processes, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
6. Oversee landscape installation processes, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
7. Supervise monumentation operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
8. Develop and implement strategies for wetland and buffer mitigation, ensuring environmental compliance.
9. Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes.
10. Develop and maintain operational budgets and monitor financial performance.
11. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and implement strategies to reduce operational costs and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management in the construction industry.
3. Proven experience in design, estimating, hardscape, irrigation installation and maintenance, landscape installation, monumentation, and wetland and buffer mitigation.
4. Strong understanding of construction/landscape operations and processes.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
7. Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
8. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
