Tidewater Fleet Supply / TNT Parts is one of the largest independent distributors of fleet, truck, trailer, and heavy equipment parts in the Southeast. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a hands-on, results-driven Operations Manager to oversee one of our branch locations along with its warehouse operations.

About the Role

This is a critical leadership position responsible for both the commercial and operational performance of the branch and its warehouse. The ideal candidate is experienced, ethical, personable, and adaptable — someone who can manage day-to-day operations while developing a team and driving growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the branch and warehouse, including counter sales, delivery, inventory management, and logistics.
• Drive performance across customer service, staffing, financial results, and warehouse efficiency.
• Recruit, train, and develop a motivated team — both in the branch and in the warehouse.
• Manage budgets, analyze KPIs, and create plans to achieve branch and warehouse goals.
• Monitor inventory levels and warehouse workflows to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance throughout the facility.
• Resolve customer and employee concerns swiftly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other branches and share best practices company-wide.
• Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
• Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company
• Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration

Requirements

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
• Stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, and walking are occasionally required.
• Talking, hearing, and seeing with close visual acuity are frequently required.
• Keying data is repetitive motion and is frequently required.
• The position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
• Occasional exposure to other worksites that require personal protective equipment.
• Driving to customers locations and branches is required.

Requirements

• Proven management experience in the heavy-duty parts industry or similar field(required).
• Strong background in both warehouse and branch operations.
• Ability to balance team leadership with hands-on problem solving.
• The person will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business.
• Skilled in financial oversight, sales strategy, and warehouse processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and business systems.
• Ability to travel locally to customers and other branches as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment as needed.
