Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Operations Manager (Full-time) to lead daily operations and drive service excellence across Akron accounts. The role requires hands-on leadership, training staff, and collaborating with the Branch Manager on projects.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with fellow workers and customers.

• Previous vending experience is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with good driving history.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the training and development of team members.
• Lead and assist on projects assigned by the Branch Manager.
• Operate and maintain company-owned vehicle safely for travel to accounts.
• Maintain positive customer relations by visiting accounts.
• Recognize needs for equipment upgrades and schedule installations of new vending machines.
• Support company programs and branch goals.
• Monitor inventory percentages, direct labor costs, waste percentages, inventory levels and consumption.
• Address customer inquiries/complaints within 24 hours.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Assist in the training and development of team members

• Recognize needs for equipment upgrades and schedule installations of new vending machines

• Address customer inquiries/complaints within 24 hours

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Previous vending experience is preferred
• Ability to manage financials and achieve goals
