Summary

We seek future leaders to join our Operations team in Milford, DE as Management Trainees. This entry-level program develops individuals into future operations leaders through hands-on training, departmental rotations, and development sessions. The program begins June 2025 and lasts 12 months, culminating in a supervisor role upon successful completion.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Gain knowledge of administrative functions, production processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop team collaboration skills, including goal setting, communication, feedback, and recognition.
  • Implement quality improvement policies and monitor team performance.
  • Participate in various plant functions through rotations, including Hatchery, Feed Mill, and Processing departments.
  • Complete projects aimed at cost reduction and performance enhancement.
  • Engage in learning activities via classes, online platforms, and projects.
Minimum Education
  • Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, to be obtained within 12 months of June 2025.
  • Preferred: Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Animal Science, or related fields with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Qualifications
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Willing to work rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd).
  • Within two semesters of completing a Bachelor's degree at application.
Environmental & Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including cold temperatures and exposure to chemicals.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work on different surfaces.
