Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team and help prepare vacant units to support a positive resident experience.

Responsibilities include drywall repairs, painting, caulking, appliance repair, and coordinating with residents. We offer on-the-job training and solid growth potential with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance including drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC is preferred but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Complete full vacant turn process to meet move-in deadlines (drywall repairs, painting, caulking, grouting).
• Repair or replace appliances, faucets, disposals, entry locks, windows; carpentry and tile work.
• Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
• Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
• Maintain professional appearance per dress code; communicate effectively with residents and coworkers.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn software/apps.
• On the job training and development.

For over 100 years, Edward Rose & Sons has been committed to career development for our team members. We are currently looking for a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join our on-site operations team to help support a positive experience for our residents.

What are the responsibilities of a Make Ready Maintenance Technician?

• Completing full vacant turn process in a timely manner to meet move-in deadlines including drywall repairs, painting, caulking and grouting
• Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, windows as well as carpentry and ceramic tile installation
• Completing administrative paperwork as necessary
• Assisting with snow and ice removal, as required
• Previous experience in building maintenance working with drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC is preferred but willing to train
• Maintain a professional appearance following team dress code policy
• Able to effectively and professionally communicate with residents and co-workers
• Basic computer skills and comfort learning software, apps, and programs
• On the job training and development

Competitive compensation plan with bonus opportunities

Compensation: $20.33 - $23.86 per hour or higher, based on experience
