Job Title: Operations & Maintenance Manager

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist the OV Construction Manager in managing technical tracking and documentation during the D&C period and project closeout.
- Verify compliance with reviews and responses to Construction Documentation, including field and design changes.
- Oversee transportation project operations and maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to GDOT standards.
- Develop strategic plans for efficient operations and maintenance practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance to meet project goals effectively.
- Implement asset management strategies, monitor asset conditions, and recommend maintenance or replacements.
- Manage budgets and financial planning for operations and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including GDOT officials, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Develop systems to monitor and evaluate performance, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Management, or related field.
- Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations and maintenance management, especially in transportation projects.
- Experience with GDOT projects and procedures is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of asset management principles and maintenance practices.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Effective financial management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
