Job Title: Operations & Maintenance Manager

Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with the manager during the interview process

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Assist the OV Construction Manager in managing technical tracking and documentation during the D&C period and project closeout.
2. Verify compliance with reviews and responses to Construction Documentation, including field and design changes.
3. Oversee transportation project operations and maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to GDOT standards.
4. Develop strategic plans for efficient operations and maintenance practices.
5. Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
6. Provide guidance to meet project goals effectively.
7. Implement asset management strategies, monitor asset conditions, and recommend maintenance or replacements.
8. Manage budgets and financial planning for operations and maintenance activities.
9. Coordinate with stakeholders, including GDOT officials, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
10. Develop systems to monitor and evaluate performance, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
11. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

Education/Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Management, or related field.
2. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
3. Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations and maintenance management, especially in transportation projects.
4. Experience with GDOT projects and procedures is highly preferred.
5. Strong knowledge of asset management principles and maintenance practices.
6. Proven leadership and management skills.
7. Effective financial management skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
