UPMC Corporate is hiring an Operations Logistic Specialist, Associate to join our team! This role will work overnight hours on varied days, as this is a 24/7 department. The position offers the opportunity to work from home after training.

The Operations Logistic Specialist, Associate, serves as a 24/7 principal contact for handling complex, routine, and emergent operational needs across Facilities, Engineering, and Maintenance at UPMC hospital campuses, senior living facilities, and other locations. This position utilizes multiple CMMS applications and communication tools to ensure data accuracy, timely resolution, and support for facilities management, promoting safety for patients, staff, and visitors in alignment with UPMC's mission and values. Responsibilities:

1. Manage the daily flow of routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance needs across all Facilities, Engineering, and Maintenance Departments, following established CMMS data standards and best practices.
2. Ensure safety and integrity by handling emergencies such as vertical transportation failures, pneumatic tube system failures, system alarms, temperature alerts, utility outages, floods, and weather-related incidents.
3. Provide CMMS and technical support to facilities management teams for maintenance planning, asset management, and compliance reporting.
4. Coordinate life safety inspections with external agencies alongside clinical and compliance staff.
5. Act as the primary contact for customer requests, conducting data inquiries and providing timely follow-up and resolution.
6. Maintain data integrity in CMMS for accurate work order tracking, asset downtime, and cost recovery.
7. Maintain clear communication with on-site and remote team members to ensure prompt response to operational needs.
8. Demonstrate professionalism and flexibility in customer interactions, reflecting UPMC's core values and promoting safety and satisfaction.
