UPMC Corporate is hiring an Operations Logistic Specialist, Associate to join our team! This role will work overnight hours on varied days, as this is a 24/7 department. The position will have the opportunity to work from home, after training has been completed.

The Operations Logistic Specialist, Associate serves as a 24/7 principal contact to handle incoming complex, routine, and emergent operational needs for Facilities, Engineering, and Maintenance across all UPMC hospital campuses, senior living facilities, and other non-hospital-based locations. This position will utilize multiple CMMS applications and a matrix of communication tools to ensure data consistency, timely resolution, and facilities management support to protect and promote the safety of patients, staff, and visitors to UPMC, reflecting the organization's mission and values. Responsibilities:

1. Manage the daily flow of routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance needs for all Facilities, Engineering, and Maintenance Departments across the UPMC system, following established CMMS data and process standardization and Best Practice protocols.
2. Ensure operational safety and integrity by handling internal and external facilities emergencies, including but not limited to vertical transportation failures and entrapments, pneumatic tube system failures, system alarms, Mobile View temperature alerts, utility outages, condition alerts, floods, inclement weather, etc.
3. Provide CMMS and technical support to facilities management teams (both mobile and PC-based) for preventive maintenance planning and tracking, asset management, and compliance reporting.
4. Work with facilities management teams, clinical staff, and compliance personnel to coordinate life safety inspections by external regulatory agencies, as needed.
5. Act as the primary facilities operations contact for customer requests, including conducting CMMS data inquiries, and providing timely follow-up and resolution to maintenance needs.
6. Preserve CMMS work order data integrity to enable accurate time charge, labor productivity, track asset downtime, and capture cost recovery information.
7. Maintain constant and detailed communication with a hybrid team of on-site and remote co-workers to ensure accurate and timely response to operational needs.
