Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cupertino is seeking a strategic Operations Lifecycle Program Manager to oversee NPI material management for engineering development and production builds.

You will partner with Hardware Engineering, Product Design, System Program Management, suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure Clear to Build (CTB) and timely readiness across every development build. The role requires strong program management skills, analytical abilities, and the ability to influence across teams.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of related supply chain and/or operations experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Manage on-time and in-spec material readiness for engineering and operation.
  • Closely track component changes and configuration variances at each build.
  • Work with procurement, suppliers, finance and contract manufacturers to align demand and supply.
  • Run material cost, lead time, liability, spend forecast and actualizations.
  • Create purchase orders/requisitions and maintain invoice tracking.
  • Present regular material cost and readiness updates to engineering.

Description

The Operations Lifecycle Program Management team leads NPI material managementfor Engineering development and Operation builds for iPhone from concept to launch.This role partners closely with Hardware Engineering, Product Design, System ProgramManagement, Part Suppliers, Procurement, Operations, and Contract Manufacturers toensure Clear to Build (CTB) to each development build and drive product readiness tomeet launch schedule.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of related Supply Chain and/or Operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related fields

  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $163,500 and $246,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
