Rembrandt Foods in Rembrandt, Iowa, seeks an Operations Management Trainee to gain exposure to all facets of egg processing and to grow into a shift supervisor within 6-12 months. The role supports 24/7 operations across multiple functions including operations, engineering/maintenance, accounting, safety, HR, and sales.

The program emphasizes cross-functional learning and readiness to manage diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, agricultural science, poultry science, food science or related fields.
• Right to work in the U.S. that is not solely based on a student visa or sponsorship.
• Willing to work on all shifts and weekends.
• Willing to provide their own transportation.
• Ability to work with a diverse set of employees and backgrounds.
• Must possess a high degree of resourcefulness and be able to work independently.
• Preferred: Co-op, internship, or related experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Overall GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shadows supervisors and employees to learn all areas of the processing facility.
• Leads projects as assigned.
• Collaborates across functions.
• Establishes measurable criteria to ensure desired results and provides updates via KPI tracking reports.
• Identifies training needs for facilities and assists in deploying training techniques and timing.
• Other duties as assigned.
