Tyson Foods is seeking an Operations Management Trainee in New Holland, PA, to develop leadership capabilities while supporting day-to-day production and operational performance. You will apply independent judgment and data-driven analysis to advance safety, quality, yield and efficiency in live operations.

You will partner with plant leadership to identify opportunities, implement improvements, plan staffing, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to build foundational leadership skills

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, technical degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent practical experience (1 year) required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Internships or hands-on experience in production, agriculture or live operations is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Analyze operational performance metrics to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Recommend and help implement process improvements related to safety, quality, yield and efficiency.
• Exercise independent judgment in troubleshooting and solving operating issues.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with HR, Maintenance, FSQA, and Accounting.
• Lead or direct teams in assigned situations and influence performance.
• Monitor compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements; escalate risks as needed.
• Plan and execute operational priorities including staffing, production flow and resource allocation.
• Drive continuous improvement to identify cost savings and waste reduction opportunities.
• Develop working knowledge of equipment, processes and systems to support decision-making.
