Vermeer Corporation is seeking candidates for its Operations Development Program (ODP), a two-year rotational path designed to accelerate leadership and functional skills in manufacturing. You will rotate through three eight-month assignments, exploring Production Area Management, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, and Procurement to build a versatile foundation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment (internship or previous work experience).
• Ability to manage through challenging and difficult situations.
• Passion for problem solving, utilizing lean manufacturing principles to drive improvement, and working cross functionally with others.
• Demonstration of good oral and written communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• A strong commitment to a career in Operations.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute 3, eight-month rotations to build leadership and functional skills through experiential and formal learning. Program rotations include three of the following:
• Production Area Manager
• Engineering (Manufacturing, Quality, or Advanced Manufacturing)
• Continuous Improvement (Operations or Business Process)
• Procurement (Buyer or Commodity Manager)
