Wayne-Sanderson Farms (WSF) invites ambitious graduates into its 12-month Manager in Training (MIT) Program in Hazlehurst, MS. The program cultivates future leaders through rotations in plant operations, live production, and business functions.

Participants develop courage and resilience, interpersonal savvy, conflict management, accountability and high learning agility, with mentorship and hands-on leadership exposure to prepare for leadership roles.

Qualifications

• College degree required (associate, bachelors, graduate) OR completed college degree by MIT start date.
• 0-5 years of experience
• Must be able to relocate within company geographic footprint.

Responsibilities

• Learn the day-to-day operations under supervision of functional managers or mentors across departments.
• Learn and understand internal and external customer requirements to improve products and services.
• Identify opportunities for improvement, root cause analysis, and implement solutions with various departments.
• Partner with leadership to guide day-to-day activities of frontline associates.
• Follow LEAP philosophy in daily interactions and decisions.
• Align personal and subordinate goals with the Company’s vision and objectives.
• Follow safety initiatives to maintain a zero-accident culture.
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.
