Job summary

MSD in the United States is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Senior Specialist to lead a vaccine end-to-end manufacturing process, including media preparation, harvesting, filling, lyophilization, capping and inspection, and packaging.

The role requires directing and coaching a team, managing the site cost center, driving lean improvements, ensuring safety and quality, and collaborating with cross-functional groups to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in manufacturing operations or site support roles.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Mastery of Company Production Systems, problem solving and LEAN practices.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and production schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develop, motivate, and manage a team to ensure reliable manufacturing, testing and release execution.
• Provide regular feedback and coaching to employees on performance.
• Lead site meetings and facilitate information flow up/down the organization.
• Champion standard work and drive continuous improvement across teams.
• Coach team on smaller improvement projects and support project teams.
