Job summary

SkyWater is partnering with an established consumer goods company to hire an Operations Manager for their growing team in the Minneapolis area. This is a newly created role reporting to the President and sitting on the leadership team, with responsibility for manufacturing processes, scheduling, inventory, and overall operations.

You will lead a small team (5 direct reports, 12 indirect), drive continuous improvement, coach staff, and partner on strategic initiatives to deliver value to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
• 7+ years in operations, manufacturing, or production leadership.
• 3+ years managing teams or leading direct reports.
• Experience in a manufacturing, wholesale, or consumer products environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations and drive process improvements.
• Oversee scheduling, quality, and production.
• Manage inventory, order fulfillment, and warehouse/shipping operations.
• Sit on the leadership team and partner with the President on strategic initiatives.
• Coach and develop the operations team with hands-on leadership.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and standardize workflows.
• Translate day-to-day decisions into better customer and business outcomes.
• Other duties as assigned.
