Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking an Operations Manager to lead production operations on our Colors team, focusing on safety, quality, and people development. You will coach teams, drive continuous improvement, and partner with maintenance, process improvement, and cross-functional groups to ensure efficient production of high-quality products.

Qualifications

• Significant manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading complex manufacturing operations and production teams.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead production operations to meet safety, quality, productivity, staffing, and customer requirements while following company and regulatory standards.
• Ensure production activities meet product specifications and food safety requirements, including applicable standards.
• Assess production needs and staffing levels, adjust schedules, support hiring and onboarding, and ensure training and qualifications of staff.
• Partner with maintenance, technical operations, process improvement and other teams to resolve challenges and develop long-term solutions.
• Promote adherence to policies and standards while identifying opportunities to reduce costs.
• Lead planning for major facility shutdowns, including production, decontamination, maintenance and start-up activities.
• Support site and company initiatives while fostering safety, quality, teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
