Sensient Technologies Corporation is expanding its plant and adding a Maintenance Mechanic to our team. We value adaptability, independence, and a proactive mindset in maintaining our diverse machinery and systems.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot PLC and VFD controlled equipment, and support production with safe, efficient operation. We offer extensive onboarding, development opportunities, and competitive pay.

Formación

• Must have HS Diploma or GED and ability to read manuals and schematics.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment, including engines, motors (480V 3-phase), pumps and HVAC systems.
• Basic hydraulics, electrical, welding knowledge; willingness to learn new equipment.
• Willingness to pursue schooling, seminars, or training sessions.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative mechanical maintenance on machinery and respond to emergency repairs.
• Use measuring and testing instruments to locate problems and adjust components.
• Troubleshoot PLC, VFD, AC/DC equipment and test voltages.
• Maintain pneumatic/hydraulic systems, valves, pumps.
• Welding skills preferred or willingness to learn.

Sensient is growing - A LOT! The Natural Color Conversion is here and we are expanding our plant! Due to this growth we are adding a Maintenance Mechanic to our team. What You’ll Do:

• Perform preventative mechanical maintenance on machinery and equipment as well as emergency repairs and Follow plant safety and environmental guidelines while completing daily tasks to ensure both you and your colleagues are kept safe.
• Utilize measuring and testing instruments to locate sources of problems, remove defective parts and adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Troubleshoot PLC, VFD, AC/DC equipment as well as testing various voltages (e.g. 480V 3-phase, low-voltage & 4-20mA signals).
• Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
• General Welding skills desired or willingness to attain and a customer centric mindset to develop excellent relationships with shift mechanics and production operators. Must be proficient in two of following skills: refrigeration and air conditioning, pipe fitting and mechanical, and general welding.

What You’ll Bring:

• The ability to read and speak in proficient English, as demonstrated by a High School Diploma, GED, or relevant field experience which involves reading equipment manuals and technical schematics.
• The ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, including engines, motors (480V 3 phase), pneumatic tools, pumps, HVAC equipment and production machines.
• An understanding of basic hydraulics, electrical, welding and HVAC equipment. An interest in learning how to use and maintain new equipment.
