Job summary

BIG TOOL BOX INC. in Centennial, CO, seeks an Assistant Store Manager-Operations to oversee Receiving/Warehouse, Rental/Repair, and Cashier operations.

You will drive operational excellence, shrink reduction, customer satisfaction, and revenue through hands-on leadership and process improvements. The role includes managing 15–30 associates, creating schedules, and guiding teams toward store-wide performance targets.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead multi-department retail teams and improve service metrics.
• Experience with receiving/warehouse, rental/repair, and front-end operations is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking to drive zero-shrink and add-on sales.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Receiving/Warehouse, Rental/Repair, and Cashier leadership and performance.
• Set departmental goals for accuracy, availability, and front-end metrics.
• Lead supervisors and teams, write schedules, conduct reviews, and build bench strength.
• Model impeccable customer service with visible management presence at key touchpoints.
• Act as MOD on rotating shifts and coordinate cross-department tasks.
• Partner with Store Manager on hiring, training, safety, and corporate programs.
