Job summary

Burger King is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead restaurant operations, drive profitability, and develop staff while delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will support the Restaurant General Manager in managing a single location, oversee a 20-45 person team, and help ensure adherence to brand standards and safety policies.

Ideal candidates have prior quick-service management exposure, basic P&L understanding, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, experience in management preferred
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management influence profitability
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for the proper functioning of the restaurant

Responsibilities

• Manages profitability by controlling inventory costs and performing daily, weekly, and monthly inventory inspections
• Places and receives inventory truck orders
• Maintains and monitors restaurant assets
• Ensures preventative maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment per company standards
• Ensures cash control and security procedures are followed
• Motivates and directs team members to exceed guest expectations with fast, friendly service
• Provides coaching and feedback to Shifts Coordinators and Team Members
• Directs team toward efficient preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within speed of service guidelines
• Ensures restaurant operates to brand standards
• Performs duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary
