Job summary

Covia seeks a Production Superintendent for its Junction City, GA facility to lead production and shipping, maximizing output at the lowest cost while ensuring safety and quality. You will report to the Operations Manager and manage safety, training, and cross-functional collaboration across shifts.

Required is 10+ years in production and shipping with prior supervision in industrial/mining settings, strong teamwork, and excellent MS Office communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years production and shipping experience.
• Experience supervising in an industrial or mining environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office software.

Responsibilities

• Lead production and shipping operations to maximize output at lowest cost.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality standards.
• Train and develop plant personnel; cross-train for redundancy.
• Monitor manpower and manage attendance; maintain reports.
• Coordinate with supervisors to maintain shift continuity.
