Job summary

Veo is seeking an Operations Manager to lead dockless micromobility operations in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will drive daily warehouse and field activities, strengthen local partnerships, and work to increase ridership while delivering exceptional service to riders and partners.

The ideal candidate is self-directed, thrives in fast-paced environments, and will recruit and train a high-performing local team, ensuring city agreements and SOPs are followed and that operations run safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–2 years managing operations in fleets, warehousing, distribution, or similar.
• Comfortable lifting 60 lbs routinely.
• Ownership mindset with a bias for action.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Willingness to work varying days and shifts.
• Strong quantitative decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication.
• Passion for dockless bike & scooter sharing, sustainable transport.
• Commitment to improving the community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and field operations.
• Perform physical tasks including moving scooters and driving vans.
• Set and manage daily routes for hourly associates.
• Identify gaps in hitting operations metrics and implement fixes.
• Ensure timely submission of fleet health counts and data updates.
• Recruit and train local team.
• Ensure compliance with city agreements and SOPs.
• Manage inventory and ordering of parts.
