Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the facility's financial, operational, and leadership responsibilities, delivering results against the execution plan and championing operational excellence in a modern workplace.

You will drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, develop scalable capabilities, upskill the workforce, and implement emerging technologies to improve output, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive warehouse operations management experience, including hands-on WMS and inventory control.
• Experience leading both salaried and hourly employees, mentoring and performance management.
• Proven use of Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement approaches.
• Ability to establish work standards, KPIs, and performance expectations with data-driven accountability.
• Strong customer focus with ability to translate requirements into operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage 50–100 exempt and non-exempt employees, supervisors, and admin staff to build a high-performing team.
• Lead order fulfillment and customer shipments while achieving KPIs for Safety, Quality, Productivity, On-Time Delivery, and accuracy.
• Develop labor standards, staffing plans, and capacity to support day-to-day execution and future growth.
• Establish KPIs and use data to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet requirements and improve satisfaction and NPS.
• Lead root cause analysis for operational failures and implement corrective actions.
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma and structured problem solving to eliminate waste and improve processes.
• Identify and implement technology, automation, and digital tools to enhance visibility and scalability.
• Develop employees through onboarding, cross-training, coaching, learning, and succession planning.
• Promote a positive culture of teamwork, accountability, and open communication.
