Job summary

Aurorium is seeking an hands-on Operations Leader to guide its Greensboro manufacturing site. You will own the operations strategy, lead a growing team, and drive Lean and continuous improvement to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective production.

This role requires strong leadership, technical acumen, and a proven track record in chemical operations. You will collaborate across functions on new product introductions, scale-ups, and process enhancements while managing budgeting and daily

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 7-10 years in chemical manufacturing operations or related industrial production.
• Supervisory and team-leadership experience.
• Experience in PSM-regulated environments preferred.
• Lean / Six Sigma training (Green Belt or Black Belt highly preferred).
• Strong safety mindset and continuous improvement mindset; financial and operational acumen.
• Confident communicator who builds trust and accountability.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office.

• Champion a world-class safety culture, ensuring OSHA and environmental standards.
• Deliver safe, on-time, in-full production that meets cost and quality targets.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team with succession planning.
• Drive Lean / Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
• Own manufacturing execution: labor strategy, workforce planning, and daily production performance.
• Partner cross-functionally on new product introductions, scale-ups, and process enhancements.
• Oversee site production budgeting, scheduling, and cost control initiatives.
• Strengthen communication, alignment, and collaboration across shifts and teams.
• Serve as a key member of the site leadership team, shaping culture and strategy.
