Job summary

Schneider Electric’s Fairfield, OH plant seeks a Manufacturing Manager to oversee safety programs, production schedules, quality control, and a high-performance team across multiple shifts. You will mentor frontline supervisors, drive continuous improvement, and ensure ISO and Lean manufacturing excellence.

The role reports to the Plant Manager and requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and a proven track record in manufacturing operations within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of management/leadership in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with P&L responsibility
• Solid understanding of OSHA guidelines and safety culture
• Lean Manufacturing experience; certification a plus
• Proficient data analysis in MRP systems and cloud platforms (Tableau/AVEVA)

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and lead daily production operations to hit KPIs (safety, on-time delivery, quality, productivity)
• Promote ergonomic principles, environmental responsibility, and employee health
• Provide world-class service to internal and external customers
• Lead ISO/compliance efforts and total customer satisfaction
• Coach and develop direct reports
• Ensure quality systems meet required standards
• Manage resources (materials, methods, labor, machines)
• Support Master Production Schedule development
• Champion Schneider Performance System Lean initiatives
• Lead people management, training, and change management
• Foster collaboration, inclusion, and diversity
• Coordinate programs to support manufacturing strategies
