Job summary

Franklincoc in Franklin, IN seeks a Director of Operations to lead production across machining, assembly and facilities. You will drive on-time delivery, cost efficiency and top quality output by applying lean methods and strong leadership.

The role requires guiding shop floor, engineering and supply chain, managing budgets and capital equipment, and reporting metrics to the executive team while mentoring direct reports.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in precision machining and manufacturing with high-quality output.
• Experience moving production from development to production.
• Implemented lean principles across the organization.
• Change management experience.
• Experience reporting to a board or executive team.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Experience budgeting and human capital management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and delegate workload to ensure on-time, high-quality production.
• Drive performance via metrics and accountability.
• Oversee shop floor, assembly, supply chain and engineering.
• Asset management for capital equipment, maintenance and decommissioning.
• Provide operational metrics to executive management.
• Forecast and control direct and indirect budgets.
• Mentor and manage direct reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
