Fillauer Companies, Inc. seeks a Director of Operations in Chattanooga, TN to oversee Machine Shop, Assembly, Facilities, and Continuous Improvement initiatives. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while fostering a high-performing culture.

You will partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Sales, and Finance to align manufacturing with business objectives and growth. Strong leadership and coaching are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience leading managers and multi-functional operations teams.
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver's license and driving record per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for Chattanooga manufacturing operations (Machine Shop, Assembly, Production Support).
• Lead operational plans to drive growth, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Oversee reviews to monitor performance, identify risks, and drive accountability.
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve throughput and reduce waste.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to remove barriers and improve production.
