Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead one or more departments at the Jasper site. You will oversee safe, profitable manufacturing operations, drive lean initiatives, and manage budgets while collaborating across teams to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include directing supervisors, ensuring safety compliance, planning capacity, and communicating updates to stakeholders. Strong leadership and cost-control experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing teams and achieving cost targets.
• Strong understanding of lean tools and process improvements.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts and cost controls in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership for front line supervisors on a daily basis.
• Ensure safety systems and policies are followed at all times.
• Develop strategies to meet product line objectives and costs.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and waste reduction.
• Execute master production schedule and capacity planning.
• Communicate department and company information regularly to staff.
• Manage 1–3 direct reports and 75–125 indirect reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
