Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores in Kansas City, MO, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily retail and service operations across store, fuel, restaurant, and truck care. You will lead a multi-member team, manage processes, and implement strategies to grow sales and enhance customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in retail or travel-stop management, hands-on budgeting and P&L experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail or travel stop management
• 2+ years managing operations with $2M+ annual sales
• 2+ years affecting budgets and P&L statements
• 2+ years supervising and training 5–10+ employees
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations across store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through restroom and shower upkeep, maintenance, and safety checks.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, scheduling, cash integrity, and daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
• Analyze profit and loss statements and implement changes to capitalize on opportunities.
• Collaborate with managers on talent acquisition.
