Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily operations across retail, fuel, restaurant, and fleet services. You will oversee teams, ensure safety, maintain facilities, manage inventory, and drive sales through excellent execution and customer service.

You will partner with the General Manager on scheduling, cash control, and reporting, while partnering with managers on talent acquisition and process improvements to grow efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in retail/travel stop or similar management.
• Experience managing budgets and P&L statements.
• Proven ability to supervise and train teams of 5-10+ employees.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on responsibility of multiple business operations up to and potentially including retail store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through restroom and shower cleanliness, facilities, equipment maintenance, and safety checks.
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards.
• Assist the General Manager with proper task execution, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Understand financial reporting to include analyzing profit and loss statements and affecting changes to capitalize on opportunities.
• Collaborate with managers in the efforts of talent acquisition.
