Our client in the heavy civil sector is seeking an Operations Manager to take full ownership of a portfolio of high‑value projects across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. You will oversee delivery from bid handover through closeout and partner with Executives to guide business growth.

You will mentor Project Managers, Engineers and Superintendents, set delivery standards, manage budgets and cash flow, and build long-term relationships with owners and authorities to win future work.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in heavy civil construction.
• Track record delivering complex projects (typically $50M+).
• Strong commercial skills: budgeting, forecasting, change orders and claims management.
• Excellent leadership, communication and client-facing skills.

• Take full P&L ownership of a multi-project portfolio of high-value heavy civil projects with authority to drive growth and results.
• Mentor and lead a team of Project Managers, Engineers and Superintendents; set standards for project delivery and develop future leaders.
• Build and grow relationships with owners, engineers, municipalities and utilities; pursue repeat work and shape markets and projects.
