Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager in Shrewsbury, MA to coordinate and direct delivery of quality service, maximize branch productivity and ensure safety and process compliance. You will work with the Branch Manager to drive financial results and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), 3+ years in sales/operations, and strong leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid driver's license are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry.
• Strong motivational and leadership skills.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable record.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies.
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
• Manage performance of direct staff including Inside Sales Reps, Drivers, and other staff.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel.
• Promote safety culture and discipline through leadership and accountability.
• Perform other duties as needed.
