United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and coordinate the delivery of quality service across the branch, in partnership with the Branch Manager. You will drive safety, customer service, and process compliance to maximize productivity and efficiency.

The role emphasizes leadership of Inside Sales Reps, Drivers, and staff, with a focus on achieving financial objectives while maintaining top-tier service. Strong communication and team-building are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• Basic knowledge of construction rental equipment industry or related.
• Strong leadership, motivational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
• Responsible for performance management of direct staff including Inside Sales Reps, Drivers, and other staff.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel to improve performance.
• Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership and accountability.
