Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is seeking an Assistant Director of Operations to support the Director of Distribution Operations across warehouse, transportation, and related functions in a challenging Miami environment.

This leadership role focuses on safety, quality assurance, and training, driving improvements, and ensuring top customer service while meeting financial goals. Relocation to Miami is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in General Studies is required.
• 7–10 years of experience in retail operations, distribution, transportation, logistics, and/or supply chain management.
• Shift 2nd Shift; relocation to Miami, FL.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Distribution Operations across warehouse, transportation, and related functions.
• Lead safety, quality assurance, and training initiatives on campus.
• Forecast staffing, equipment, and scheduling for peak periods and holidays.
• Drive process improvements and adoption of new assets, facilities, and methods.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and a safe work environment for all.
• Collaborate across functions to meet customer expectations and financial targets.
