Job summary

Chattanooga Goodwill Industries in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Full-time Director of Distribution and Logistics to lead the Donation Center, post-retail and transportation operations. You will drive efficiency, oversee scheduling, costs and safety, and partner with leadership to align with our mission.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred), 2 years of warehouse and logistics supervision, strong communication, organizational, and budgeting skills, and a commitment to community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
• 2 years of warehouse and transportation/logistics proven working experience in a supervisory role, required.
• Multi-unit supervision is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.

Responsibilities

• Direct and maximize efficiency of distribution center and post retail operations.
• Oversee Donated Goods logistics schedules, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
• Supervise Post Retail, Distribution Center, Transportation staff and drivers.
• Foster relationships with departments and vendors to meet goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety, DOT regulations, and quality standards.
