Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Portland, Oregon is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team of salaried and hourly staff, ensure safety, quality, attendance and performance, and drive improvements through data-driven decisions.

You will mentor employees, manage large-scale projects, balance workloads, and partner with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, and HR to meet delivery goals while handling lifting, stairs, and variable conditions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, and HR to meet objectives.
