Job summary

Senneca Holdings is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a custom manufacturing operation focused on commercial metal doors and frames. The role drives safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery while coordinating with Sales, Engineering, Production, and Customer Service to translate required specifications into executable schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership in a senior ops role.
• Experience in custom/made-to-order environments with scheduling needs.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and capacity management.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant operations with accountability for safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.
• Direct multiple departments through supervisors and promote accountability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Production, and Customer Service to meet schedules.
• Develop capacity planning strategies to hit monthly and annual goals.
• Analyze workflow; identify bottlenecks; implement improvements for throughput.
• Oversee scheduling, material planning, and inventory to ensure on-time delivery.
• Drive safety initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Establish KPIs and monitor productivity, quality, scrap, and labor efficiency.
• Manage maintenance; implement preventative maintenance for reliability.
• Partner with HR on employee relations and development initiatives.
• Prepare reports and performance metrics for senior leadership.
