Job summary

Walmart is seeking a store leadership professional to drive community outreach programs, uphold policy compliance, and lead hourly associates with a focus on exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing

Responsibilities

• Initiates and leads community outreach programs, supporting associates and managers in community relations and sustainability efforts.
• Ensures policy compliance, analyzes reports, and monitors asset protection and safety controls.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance recognition.
• Models exceptional customer service and resolves issues using Walmart’s OBW service model and customer-first approach.
• Drives financial performance by reviewing PL statements and assisting in expense control and trend analysis.
• Coordinates activities with key stakeholders to meet customer and business needs and promotes a culture of belonging.
