Job summary

Univar Solutions USA Inc is seeking an Operations Manager in Visalia, CA to oversee day-to-day terminals operations, manage staff, and drive the budget and operating plan. You will coordinate with Transportation to service customers and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the site.

The role requires 5–7 years in operations, HazMat knowledge, ERP/SAP familiarity, and strong communication. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered. Location: Visalia, CA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT etc. knowledge or ability to attain such knowledge is preferred.
• Experience in chemical distribution facility operations is preferred.
• Supervisory leadership and ability to motivate employees to achieve objectives.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Directs a team of Yard Specialists and Operations Coordinators to meet daily operational goals.
• Manages branch budget and operating plan; partners with Transportation to service customers.
• Ensure safety, health, and environmental policies are followed; conduct incident investigations.
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff; maintain training records.
• Develop emails and communications with internal and external customers; present Branch Reviews.
