Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum four years in steel service center management or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of planning, resource allocation, leadership and coordinating people.
• Reading/writing English to read customers drawings and policies manuals.
• Ability to read a tape measure and verify part dimensions; attention to accuracy.
• MS Office proficiency and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations across production, material handling, inventory, scheduling and transportation.
• Plans work schedules, assignments, and sequences to meet production and safety goals.
• Inspects production areas and addresses safety risks and standards.
• Makes manpower decisions and coordinates training for staff.
• Explains and enforces company policies and procedures; resolves worker issues.
