Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks an experienced Operations Lead to coordinate end-to-end execution, including new product introduction and recovery planning. You will drive cross-functional collaboration across site, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery and informed decision-making.

The role requires deep experience in aerospace operations, lean methods, and capacity planning, with on-site work in the U.S. healthcare and manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of related work experience.
• Aerospace Industry experience is required.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and ACE/CORE process techniques.
• Experience in Operations, Quality, Engineering, Product Support, Supply Chain, Contracts and Logistics management.

Responsibilities

The Operations Lead is accountable for end-to-end coordination of operational execution, including new product introduction, recovery planning, risk mitigation, and manufacturing readiness. It serves as the central integrator across functions, driving visibility, root cause resolution, and disciplined decision-making through tiered governance. This role provides execution-based inputs to financial forecasts and capacity plans to enable informed business tradeoffs and commitment alignment.

What You Will Do

• Primary focus on the execution management, action tracking, and issue resolution for assigned LRUs / LoBs or defined program segments
• Translate demand, recovery plans, and priorities into integrated execution plans
• Manage cross-functional action tracking, ensuring clear ownership, timing, and closure
• Drive issue resolution by coordinating across site, supply chain, and functional teams
• Maintain visibility to execution risks, gaps, and recovery progress at the LRU level
• Support NPI, build readiness, and recovery execution as needed
• Provide execution inputs into capacity, LE/EAC, and program reviews
• Interface directly with site and working teams to ensure alignment and follow-through
• Support business travel as needed

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
• Aerospace Industry experience
• Experience with lean manufacturing and ACE/CORE process techniques
• Experience in Operations, Quality, Engineering, Product Support, Supply Chain, Contracts and Logistics management

Qualifications We Prefer

• Advanced degree, MBA, or Supply Chain and Operations Management
• Experience with external customer interface
• Operational understanding of manufacturing, decision point and engineering processes

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
