Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is hiring an Operations Manager in Florence, KY. This role focuses on day-to-day site operations including warehousing, receiving and shipping, with responsibility for planning inbound/outbound volume, space and equipment, and people management.

You will lead a team to meet productivity targets, ensure safety and quality standards, and collaborate with HR on hiring, training and performance evaluations.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Must be able to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures across seasons.

Responsibilities

• Develops systems for safe, profitable operations per company policies.
• Drives productivity and service goals; complies with client SLAs.
• Leads Continuous Improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensures KPI targets and Quality system requirements are met.
• Supervises, trains and develops staff; supports HR processes.
