Job summary

Uncommon Schools in Newark is seeking an Associate Director of Operations to lead day-to-day school operations and support the High School Leadership Team. You will manage attendance, scheduling, facilities, and staffing, partnering with the Athletic Director and program managers to ensure safe, efficient operations that free teachers to focus on student achievement.

You have at least 4+ years in operations, a bachelor’s degree, and strong communication and project-planning skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 4+ years of work experience.
• Project planning experience with ability to see large projects through to completion.
• Experience managing others preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of day-to-day school operations.
• Serve as main contact for operational needs when DOO not available.
• Participate in the High School Leadership Team.
